36 Foreign Students Participate in International Students Community Engagement (ISComE) 2024

Salatiga, July 15, 2024. The opening ceremony for the International Students Community Engagement (ISComE) 2024 was held at the Main Meeting Room, KH. Hasyim Asy’ari Building, UIN Salatiga. The event was attended by 36 foreign students from 13 countries. The ceremony was graced by the Rector, Vice Rector, Deans, Heads of Institutions, and Unit Heads from UIN Salatiga.

The Head of LP2M, Hammam, Ph.D. reported to the rector and invited guests that the event had been well-planned and was now successfully taking place. “We have long aspired to organize an event like this, and Alhamdulillah, in our first event, 36 foreign students from 13 countries are participating. Thank you to the rector, the leadership, the head of the International Cooperation Center, the public relations team, the drivers, and everyone who has played an extraordinary role in making this event a success,” he added.

The Rector of UIN Salatiga, Prof. Dr. Zakiyuddin, M.Ag., officially opened the event. He also shared his message and hopes that this activity would continue and become an annual agenda at UIN Salatiga. “This international encounter is expected to serve as a means for mutual learning and growth. Mutual understanding will naturally develop, strengthening friendships. With the words ‘Bismillah,’ I hereby officially open the International Students Community Engagement (ISComE) 2024,” the rector said.

The event continued with the distribution of ID cards to representative participants and take a picture together.
