Meeting 3 Countries: Promoting UIN Salatiga to International Students

Salatiga, 06/03/23, the Center for International Cooperation under Research and Community Service Unit (LP2M) UIN Salatiga conducted an online meeting for UIN Salatiga International Student candidates in 2023. This activity involved 3 target countries, namely Malaysia, India and Thailand.

Beginning with the opening remarks from the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Sidqon Maesur, Lc. MA in Arabic, which essentially invites prospective foreign students at UIN Salatiga to study at UIN Salatiga because the city is beautiful and cool.

Furthermore, the main presentation regarding the technical acceptance of foreign/international students was delivered directly by Ms. Marisa Fran Lina, M.Pd., Head of the Center for International Cooperation of UIN Salatiga. "Our motto for International student services is We're not just recruiting students, We serve them better!." Because indeed excellent service from the moment they become prospective foreign students, until they return to their country is the obligation of this Center for International Cooperation trying to provide the best.

The presentation session was closed with 2 testimonials from 2 International students from India (Anzar) and also Thailand (Ismaal). They basically enjoy studying at UIN Salatiga, and they also try to show their fluency in Indonesian.

This activity was attended by Brother Abdullah, an agent from Malaysia, who would later convey this news to the targets of prospective foreign students in Malaysia. Then from India, Dr. Abdul Rasyid from Kashmir and 2 Indian students who are interested in studying at UIN Salatiga. Finally, Thailand, represented by Ismaal Dereh, a student of Arabic Language and Literature at UIN Salatiga who is expected to be able to convey this socialization program to his friends in Thailand.
