International Cooperation Centre of UIN Salatiga facilitates interviews with prospective for international students from two Central Asian countries
International Cooperation Centre (PKSI) LP2M UIN Salatiga facilitates interviews with prospective foreign students named Kashif Khan (Pakistan) and brother-sister named Wais Samadzai and Labina Samazai (Afghanistan). The interviews were held on different weeks.
On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, an interview was conducted with Kashif Khan. The interview began with the opening of the Head of International Cooperation Center, Marisa Fran Lina, M. Pd., then continued with Mr. Hammam, Ph.D., as the head of LP2M as the first interviewer. He asked about the motivation of the the candidate to continue his studies at UIN Salatiga. Mr. Hammam also added that if he is later accepted here, Kashif will get one year BIPA course to facilitate language adaptation, especially during education. Next, the Secretary of English Education for Master Program, Rr. Dewi M., Ph.D., as the second interviewer, She asked about the academic background of the candidate. Kashif was graduated from management (Undergraduate) in particular Public Administration. He plans to take a major in HES/Sharia Economic Law at UIN Salatiga for the master program. Ibu Dewi stressed that during the college years later, Kashif will get three semesters of college with compulsory courses, and in the fourth semester, he will already have to write a thesis.
Then, on Tuesday, May 21 2024, interviews were conducted with candidates from Afghanistan, Wais Samadzai and Labina Samadzai. After the opening, the interview was started by Mr. Hammam who asked about their motivation for studying at UIN Salatiga. The two candidates plan to take the Islamic Banking or Sharia Banking (PS) study program, therefore PKSI invited the secretary of the FEBI department, Agung Guritno, M, Pd. to be the second interviewer. The interview was continued with a discussion session and then closed with a photo session for documentation. (MFL)
