Dozens of prospective international students from various countries are ready to study at UIN Salatiga.
On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, the LP2M UIN Salatiga International Cooperation Centre (PKSI) facilitated interviews with prospective international students (MAs) from five countries across Asia, including the Philippines, India, Yemen, Pakistan, and Libya. Among them, there were 12 candidates: three from Yemen, four from the Indonesian School of Davao (SID) in the Philippines, three from India, one from Pakistan, and one from Libya. All interviews were conducted simultaneously.
The interviews with all MA candidates were conducted online through the Zoom Meeting app. The interview began with an opening by Mrs. Marisa Fran Lina, M.P.D., the Head of the International Cooperation Centre and facilitator, followed by Mr. Hammam, Ph.D., the head of LP2M, who led the interviews. He inquired about the candidates’ motivations for continuing their studies at UIN Salatiga. The 12 students were also asked about their plans after graduation.
Subsequently, interviews were conducted according to the respective faculty and study program selections of the MA candidates. Each candidate was interviewed by faculty members, including the Deputy Dean, Head of the Study Program, Associate Professors, and the Deputy Director. The interview concluded with a discussion session, followed by a photo session for documentation. (AF/ed.MFL)
