Two International Students from UIN Salatiga Participated in WISDOM (Walisongo, Islam, Democracy, and Multiculturalism) 2024.
The International Short Course Program, WISDOM 2024, was held from September 17 to 19, 2024, at Hotel Azana, Semarang, Indonesia. This program was organized by UIN Walisongo Semarang. Participants in this event came from 10 to 12 different countries, creating an environment that enriched the participants’ experience, allowing them to explore and learn about various cultural, civilizational, and traditional aspects of each other’s countries.
Two international students from UIN Salatiga had the opportunity to participate in this event. Ismaal Dereh (Thailand) and Mohd Rabe (India) are international students currently studying at UIN Salatiga. “My experience in this program has made me feel grateful, happy, and very proud to be selected for the WISDOM 2024 program organized by the International Office of UIN Walisongo Semarang. I gained valuable knowledge, new connections, and experiences, and was given the opportunity to meet people from various countries,” said Ismaal.
This program is a golden opportunity for international students from UIN Salatiga to gain new experiences and establish new connections with fellow international students studying in Indonesia. We extend our gratitude to the International Office of UIN Walisongo Semarang for selecting two of our students to participate in WISDOM 2024.
